Menopause-related genitourinary symptoms affect up to 50% of midlife and older women. These include vaginal dryness leading to painful intercourse (dyspareunia) and urinary incontinence. In addition, vaginal laxity after childbirth can have a negative impact on a woman's sexual health.
Vaginal application of fractional CO2 laser (Femilift) is a minimally invasive technique that has been shown to significantly improve these common complaints.
Dr. Kathleen Brenman is pleased to offer the Femilift Vaginal Rejuvenation Program to reverse many of the adverse changes resulting from childbirth or menopause. This program entails three 20-minute treatments generally spaced one month apart. The initial treatment will also include an internal pelvic exam.
Dr. Brenman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Princeton University, her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and completed both her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital. She is the proud mother of four children and enjoys reading, cooking, skiing, and hiking.
