After completing his medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida in 1997, Dr. Paul Foster spent one year doing extensive research on the inner ear before entering the 5 year residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Miami. This training serves him well in his medical practice along side his father, Dr. A. Clifford Foster, whom he joined in 2003. Dr. Paul Foster became board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery shortly after, and continues to demonstrate those qualities that both his patients and colleagues find admirable, reassuring, and highly competent.

My first visit with Dr. Foster was quick and efficient. He listened and prescribed medication that I needed. More importantly to me, he told me not to hesitate to get in touch if I had any concerns.

Being in a vacation destination and needing an immediate appt. is a scary thing. I was so pleased to be able to get a quick appt. with Dr. Foster. He seemed very knowledgeable and handled the visit very professionally. I felt comfortable despite my diagnosis. I only wish I could stay long enough to make my follow up appt. with him. I'm not certain I can find the same level of care at home.

I was a little disappointed ... My primary doctor suggested to visit Dr Paul Foster because of ear pain & a deep ear cleanse. When I got there. Seeing the doctor was pretty fast and his staff was super nice. The doctor asked me a couple of questions and then told me the pain behind my ears have to do with my neck. Then he proceeded to clean my ears which was really painful. Though he was very nice I left wondering if everything was okay with my ears. The lack of reassurance left me wanting to check out another ear doctor. I think next time he should see less patients and really take the time to speak to his patients.
