Even though I'm younger than most of the patients in the waiting room, Dr. Sobti makes me feel valued. He remembered what college I went to and what state I was originally from! I haven't had a doctor that has made me feel welcome and has treated me with such respect in a long time. I recommend him for anyone of all ages!

My appointment was for 9am, and I arrived at 8:45am and signed in. I was ignored for 45 minutes, while a walk-in last-minute appointment came in and was seen by the doctor right away at 9:15am (having made the appointment with the receptionist by phone at 9am).
I was finally acknowledged by the receptionist at 9:45am and asked to finish filling out paperwork (even though they asked for mostly the same info that I provided on ZocDoc.
A few minutes later I was called into the doctor's office. The nurse went on to make constant "jokes" about getting in trouble with the doctor since she can't spell and that "God forbid she do something wrong." The whole thing made me feel very uncomfortable since she obviously doesn't like her job/the doctor.
45 more minutes later, the doctor finally came in and went on to tell me that 80% of all illnesses are all in your head. It felt more like a therapy appointment than a physical.
He then recommended that I come back for several more appointments (including blood work), not even asking if I had fasted - which I did. Had I not said something, I would have had to come back an additional time.
When I went to leave, I was told that I would have to pay for not only a physical, but he was tacking on an additional doctor's visit appointment (with an additional copay) since I had mentioned that I was ill the night before and he handed me a sheet of paper detailing what I should eat that day. He never told me he would be charging for an additional appointment since I took one additional moment of his time, even though he wasted an hour and a half of mine. I feel like he only wants to set-up more appointments to make more money, and not for my health.
To top it all off, I just saw his online portal detailing my medical history, and they added about 15 medical conditions that I had NEVER mentioned during our appointment or thereafter.
Needless to say, I will NOT be going back. I'm shocked he had such high ratings.

Although the wait was longer than expected the staff was so great. My nurse was very friendly and made me feel comfortable to speak about my medical history. Also I am a younger client and most of the patients in the waiting room were much older than me, which made me nervous at first. I have not found a general practitioner since I moved to Texas 3 years ago. Highly recommend!

Wanted to treat me for something unrelated to the injury. Blamed obesity for foot sweeping after I explained that that foot was hurt recently. Very patronizing - didn't listen to me. As a health care professional I would not recommend this Dr. The staff was great tho.
