Dr. Golbin was very nice and helped me tremendously. He seemed to really care about my needs
A fantastic experience, as always. The man's a wonder. :)
After waiting 30 minutes, the receptionist asked me to pay for the visit. I asked, “if the visit would take place because I had to leave for another appointment in 45 minutes.” She suggested that I should “never make an appointment after a doctor’s appointment” because sometimes the doctors is running late.” She went on to explain, “that’s not how doctor’s offices work” and “sometimes you could wait up to 3 hours.” I told her that I cannot schedule 3 hours of the day for a doctor’s appointment and that it was “unacceptable” to expect that from anyone. After 45 minutes my session with Dr. Globin began. He apologized, but continued to make excuses to defend his tardiness. I smiled and let it go, but it was Dr. Globin that couldn’t let it go, during the session he continued to characterized my complaint with his office as “angry” and that I was “taking it personal.” He excused his business’s practices, by suggesting that it was related to my issues with stress and anxiety. I found this simply inappropriate and unprofessional so I cancelled my future appointments.
He seemed very knowlegable
Dr. Goblin monopolized the conversation, making assumptions about who I am and what my life is like. We spoke very little about medication, only for about five minutes when he realized that he was talking for an hour and had other patients. His assistant walked in ten minutes late, forcing me and another patient to wait outside of the building. All of the decor, books, and degrees don't make a difference when it comes to relating and talking to patients.
Dr. Golbin was very courteous and professional. I had questions a few days later and he returned my call within an hour. I would definitely recommend him!
Dr. Goblin is an extremely thoughtful, considerate and highly competent physician, always attentive to my needs. I always trust his judgment and have been his patient for more than 20 years.
Excellent psychiatrist! Dr. Golbin really wants to know what brought you in. He is great with regards to wanting to know the patient and helping the patient.
