Angela M. Turner, DO, was born and raised in the Midwest before earning her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She chose Florida and the Tampa Bay to area to complete her residency and fellowship in cardiology at University of South Florida in Tampa.
After completing her fellowship, Dr. Turner worked with the University of South Florida as an attending cardiologist and assistant professor, doing clinical research and helping to train future cardiologists. Dr. Turner is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine. She is a fellow of American College of Cardiology and a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Turner has traveled within the US and overseas to Africa to do medical missions work. She is passionate about heart disease prevention, women’s cardiac health, and the care of people with any cardiac conditions, partnering with patients to help them live long, active lives.

Needs more doctors. When I had Urinary infection, primary doctor' office was unable to accommodate seeing me at sameday nor the next day. Everything is in advanced appointments but the sudden sickness is not in planned in advanced. Used tobe when sick without appointments one can just go to doctor' office waiting.

I was just have really bad health anxiety and they recent history, family, history of health problems. I wanted to set of Baseline. Dr Turner always listens and spends whatever time is needed to answer questions about my health and treatment. She has tried various medications to lower my blood pressure. During this last visit my blood pressure was 126. This is the first reading I have had at a cardiologist's office that's been below 140.
