I don't usually write reviews but I had an exceptional visit with Dr. Cheung. It took me a long time to make the appointment because I was so ashamed to admit I had bulimia but I knew I needed help. She was so sweet, helpful and I did not feel put down at. I feel much more hopeful for recovery and being open, as well as taking back control of my health

Bonnie Cheung, M.D., M.S. joined Beach Family Doctors in September, 2013. She graduated from Chicago Medical School in 2010 and completed her residency training at Long Beach Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in June 2013 where she was gynecology chief resident.
Dr. Cheung was born in Ontario, Canada, but spent most of her life in suburban Illinois and claims Chicago as her hometown. She enjoys seeing both pediatric and adult patients and has a special interest in women’s health.

Dr Cheung has really involved me in our medical plan of care and has assisted me with several complicated matters which she has made less complicated and really understands and professionally delivers patient satisfaction for myself and has a accomadated my personal circumstances in several ways, I am so happy to have found a pcp who really listens and cares about me. Dr. Cheung was great with my daughter! She had been sick for a few days and was not in a great mood when we arrived at the office. Dr. Cheung did a great job of talking with her and learning what she could do to help. Normally a quite & shy girl was answering questions and letting her know what hurt and what didn't.

I was extremely pleased with my visit and with the doctor. She took the time to go through my medical history and to make sure she heard all my concerns. She went the extra mile to research the medications she was giving me as they related to my other conditions and made sure I understood everything she was telling me and made sure she addressed all my concerns. I highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Bonnie Cheung was a breath of fresh air. Coming from someone who hasn't had the best of luck with doctors, I was thoroughly pleased with my visit. As a new patient, she took her time and made me feel important. She was informative and preventative in the advice she gave me, and it was proven to me that she truly cares about her patients and loves her job. I would highly recommend her to all my friends and family. To top it off I was greeted with a hand shake before and after my visit, which for me is something I rarely experienced in past dr. visits, and personally made a great impression on me. Thanks to Dr. Cheung I feel optimistic about my health care and know I am in good hands.

This was only my second visit with Dr. Cheung. I really like her, she is down to earth and takes the time to explain things I don't understand. She seems really concerned about my well-being and working with me to get healthy, she was great.

The doctor was great...the office staff not so great since the one staff person checking us in had an attitude about ZocDoc. She refused to get the forms I filled out on-line and wanted me to fill in over 10 pages again....so I contacted ZocDoc and hopefully you showed them where the forms were on-line.
