Dr. Chuma G. Osuji is a Family Medicine, Urgent Care, and Correctional Medicine practitioner, as well as the Founder and CEO of DoCare Health Online.
After completing his Medical Internship in Internal Medicine at Philadelphia College Osteopathic Graduate Hospital and Family Medicine Residency at Milcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania; he joined the United States Air Force and received Military Medical training in Allergic Medicine, Combat Casualty, and Advanced Officers assignments for higher Command roles.
He served at the MacDill Air Force-Central Command, TampaBay, Florida, providing medical support to the Family Medicine Unit, Emergency Medical Unit, Allergy Medicine Unit, and SOCOM Clinic from 2000 to 2003.
In 2003, Dr. Osuji was promoted to Major and became a supervisory commander for the Family Practice Urgent Care Medical Unit before being honorably discharged later that year, having received numerous awards and recognitions during his active military service.
After completing his service, Dr. Osuji served in the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel (LtCol) in the reserve service for over fourteen years, from 2003 - 2017. Currently, he is one of the Medical Directors with ARMOR Health and holds the position of Medical Director of DoCare Health Online Inc.
However, his most significant achievement is being the founder of a Non-Profit Charity organization, 501-C3 - the African Ambassadors Inc, which he established in 2002; whose mission is "Fighting Hunger and Health Care Disparity".
Dr Chuma G. Osuji embraces this premise and conviction:
