Dr. Tawde received her medical degree from the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences in India. She completed her internship and residency training at Sinai Grace Hospital/ Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan.
She was a chief resident at Sinai Grace Hospital/Wayne State University, Detroit and was involved in teaching medical residents and students. She has presented lectures on various topics during her chief residency and her grand rounds were on Osteoporosis and Breast Cancer. She believes in motivating patients, to get involved in managing their own medical conditions, through different means and resources.
