I really enjoyed my virtual visit experience with Dr. Howard! He was straightforward and immediately addressed my concerns without any roundabout interrogations. As a new patient, I was initially worried that I would have difficulties with communicating my medical history via video call to Dr. Howard, however, this ended up not being an issue as he only asked relevant questions pertaining to my reason for the visit. He has great bedside manner and even though it was a virtual consultation, it really felt as though I was in the office with him. He also had no issues accommodating my pharmacy preferences and ensured that I had a sufficient supply of my medication at one time, so that I would not have any difficulties obtaining the prescription for the next few months. Overall, I really recommend Dr. Howard, and I’m glad I switched to having him as my OBGYN.

Dr. David Howard was originally born in Jamaica and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of eighteen. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Johns Hopkins University and then pursued his Md and Ph.D. in Epidemiology through the Medical Scientist Training Program at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed an internship at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He is currently a Board Certified Obstetrics/Gynecology Specialist practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is affiliated with several different hospitals in the area.
In addition to caring for his patients, Dr. Howard is passionate about research. He has authored/co-authored several publications as well as written his book How to do a Research Project. He is a reviewer for several different OBGYN journals including Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. Also, he has officially been named a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Dr. Howard was voted as being among the top 10% of scientific reviewers for Obstetrics and Gynecology, the highest-ranked journal in the field in the United States. Dr. Howard’s passion for medicine and research has also led him to the creation of OB-STATS whose mission is to provide statistical and epidemiological consultation services to researchers.

Dr. Howard listens to your concerns and is very timely and efficient with responding back to any questions following the appointment. His administrative assistant, Rachel is great and explains the appointment process and what is needed clearly.
On my first visit, I had run out of my medication and Dr. Howard put in extra time to ensure I was able to get it as soon as possible. Rachel was very communicative and I was updated on the process and when it would be ready.
Overall, highly recommended and I will continue to see him for my virtual physician needs.
