More about Dr. David Parks, MD

Dr. Parks earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 1984. He completed an internship in general surgery and then a four-year residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in 1989 at the Medical College of Georgia. A native of Atlanta, Dr. Parks moved to Marietta, Ga., in 1989 and has been in practice in the area ever since. He is board certified in otolaryngology. Dr. Parks is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a diplomat of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, the Cobb County Medical Society and the Georgia Otolaryngology Society. He has served as the chairman of Wellstar Health System's cancer program, the chief of staff of Wellstar Paulding Hospital, the chief of the otolaryngology section of Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and as a member of the Wellstar Health System Medical Affairs Committee. Dr. Parks is married and has two children.
