Dr David did what I needed done and I am confident in his abilities. If I were to make one comment it is that he seems a little stressed and suggest he chill. If my perception is off because that is his bed side manner that is OK. My critique is for his well being, not mine.

Dr. Davis Bu is board certified in internal medicine. He received his BA and BS degrees with honors from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Tufts University, where he earned the Charles and Jane Brusch Prize for excellence in the “patient relationship and a high degree of understanding, integrity, and maturity in the care of the patient.”
Dr. Bu completed his residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where he stayed on as an Instructor in Clinical Medicine at Columbia University. Subsequently, he practiced medicine and conducted research as part of the Brigham and Women’s Physician Organization, where he was an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. He is eager to serve the community in his current role at Tufts MC Community Care - 888 Main Street.
Dr. Bu’s particular areas of interest include understanding the role of technology in healthcare, and in improving care for medically underserved populations. To this end, he served on a volunteer medical missions trip to Haiti. Dr. Bu is committed to providing the highest quality care and with the utmost respect for all his patients.

Dr. Bu seems to be knowledgeable, He listens. but that’s about it. He is not the warmest/most friendly Drs you can find. The clinic in general including the medical assistants and the front desk don’t have that hospitality you would want .

My primary care doctor of 48 years retired just before Covid started spreading throughout the US. I found Dr. Bu using my insurance company resources and the hospital group he is affiliated with, and based upon the reviews I gave it a shot. I have no complaints, he listened to my replies, asked great questions, and made me feel extremely comfortable. He provided recommendations for a few additional items based upon my medical history which I am now scheduling. I look forward to seeing him again in the future.

I had a very good experience meeting Dr. Bu to address some of my personal mental health. I felt very comfortable speaking with him and found the conversation to be smooth and judgement free. He didn’t rush which I appreciated and took the time to explain to me my plan going forward.
