Dr. Castro received a Bachelor of Science degree from Adelphi University and became a practicing Corrective Therapist. He later graduated from New York Chiropractic College as a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.). As a competitive bodybuilder for more than fifteen years, he gained personal knowledge of the benefits of Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.)®. Since only those credentialed in A.R.T. can effectively render treatment, Dr. Castro trained under founder Michael Leahy, D.C., and is a licensed A.R.T. provider and instructor. He utilizes his knowledge of anatomy, neurology, biomechanics, and chiropractic to diagnose and treat injuries.
