They were pretty solid. Was able to get glasses/contacts with new prescription in an hour and half. Will take about 2 weeks for them to arrive at the store. Clean environment helpful staff.
The place was great, it was inside a cohens fashion optical. The staff were great and really helpful, I was seen pretty quickly and the doctor helped me understand the change in my eyesight. I picked two frames and one was covered by my insurance and the second pair I paid for myself and they gave me a great deal on them. I would definitely recommend them.

Didn't know my appointment was cancelled until I arrived. Staff was very rude and unprofessional.
At the time of arrival the office was closed. Update your hours or close your appt schedule.

T My experience with this optometrist was extremely disappointing. Despite scheduling my appointment through Zocdoc and receiving confirmation, I arrived promptly at 5:30 after rushing from work, only to be met with hostility from the staff. They informed me that they don't accept patients after 5:00, despite having multiple appointments listed on Zocdoc after that time. When I questioned why they hadn't updated their schedule on Zocdoc to reflect this policy, they were incredibly rude and dismissive. It's clear they accept all appointments on Zocdoc without regard for their own scheduling limitations, causing inconvenience and frustration for patients like myself. Their unprofessional behavior and disregard for Zocdoc's scheduling platform is unacceptable. I intend to report them to Zocdoc to prevent others from experiencing the same ordeal. They don't deserve to be on this platform if they can't uphold basic professionalism and honor their commitments. Avoid at all costs.

The doctor is amazing however the lady sitting at the eyeglass department is entire different story. She insulted and mistreated me charging money that I was not entitled to pay.

The doctor was nice and professional.
Dr. Tamayeva was incredibly kind and patient. As someone who is always afraid of inconveniencing/annoying my doctor, I usually limit my questions and requests. Dr. Tamayeva actually asked me if I had questions and answered them so patiently and thoroughly. I felt so welcomed and at ease. I went for an annual eye exam as I have glasses and when she checked my vision, I couldn’t decide between one lens strength over the other (which lens I could see better through). She was so patient and understanding and told me to take my time to be completely sure. She is the best optometrist I have ever been to and really took her time to make sure I was heard. I usually read reviews before I see a physician and honestly, she definitely deserves the great reviews she receives. I would highly recommend her.
What was good: the doctor was knowledgeable/competent and answered all my questions patiently. Presented pros and cons of different choices. What was OK: at times I felt she wasn't prescriptive in her advice. There were a lot of "it's up to you." For most of my questions, I understood why this was the case, so it would have been helpful to have examples of what others in my situation do or what she would recommend. What wasn't for me... but could be just right for you: I personally like doctors who are warm and fuzzy (e.g. friendly smile, showing empathy, address me by my name when first meeting me, inquire about my lifestyle to help make recommendations, etc.) To be fair, she was wearing a mask so it's hard to tell and she was professional (maybe too clinical), but I like my doctors to be more engaged.
I have been to other eye doctors but the most accurate glasses and contacts I have had in years were prescribed and fitted by Dr. Tamayeva. I can’t imagine going to anyone else.

Dr. Tamayeva has been so helpful and accommodating. If there is any issue with my vision, which there has been for me, she will help immediately with getting it taken care of and squared away. She does not rush the appointment and is really there for you to make sure your vision is 100% comfortable and correct.

Verified patient
The people behind the glasses case were rude and didn't put the customer first had me waiting and doing the run around with glasses !
satisfied with visit.

It seemed a little rushed, but overall professional. She was nice and seemed good at her job. The wait time to get the bill after the exam was too long, but that might have had to do with problems with the insurance.
The eye exam went smooth and the optometrist was genuine caring. However the front desk clerk could not answer my question on getting reimbursed from my Aetna insurance on the eye glasses purchased.
Well I seen another Optometrist like her at the Co-op City store. They pretty much ask if you want a copy of your prescription if you choose to buy your glasses elsewhere. Very professional nice and easy-going! They don't make you feel obligated to shop there which is good because it should feel like going to the doctors not going to a sells representative. If anyone ever gives a lame excuse not to give you your prescription copy, notify the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) For it's against the law.
Dr Eleonara did not see me personally but one of her male colleagues did. The service was impeccable, there was no wait and everyone at the practice was very helpful with any questions. The doctor that did see me was able to meet my needs for my eyes and finally give me an answer on why they were bothering me.
