Hi, I’m Elora! I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor whose passion is to help others find peace with food and their bodies by learning to eat without diets, fear, or guilt. I graduated with my master's degree in nutrition in 2019 and have been helping people become intuitive eaters and recover from their eating disorders since then. As a strong advocate of Health At Every Size®, I understand the harms of weight stigma in health care and how important it is to provide respectful, aware, and compassionate nutrition therapy for all bodies. Additionally, as someone who experienced dieting and weight-related trauma and binge eating in the past, I get how hard it is to challenge yourself and recover. This is why my goal is to see my clients as the whole and amazing persons that they are and to be their cheerleader along the way. My specialties include: Intuitive Eating, trauma-informed care, somatic-based nutrition therapy, disordered eating and eating disorder recovery (I particularly enjoy helping with binge eating disorder, “atypical” anorexia, and OSFED), emotional eating, body image healing, and digestive nutrition for IBS, IBD, and GERD. I live in North Texas with my husband, dog, and horse where I enjoy pilates, dressage, cooking, music, dancing, and reading in my free time.
