He was physician in charge of Pulmonary Function Lab and Pulmonary Clinic, training residents and fellows at Long Island College Hospital. Served as pulmonary consultant at International Longshoremen Medical Center and Preferred Health Partners. He is Clinical Assistance Professor of Medicine at State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center.
He has immense experience and expertise in treating asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, pneumonia and lung cancer for 40 years.

This was my first time seeing Dr.Qaisar and I was very impressed. It’s obvious that this doctor knows what he’s talking about and explains results confidently. I’ve had a breathing issue for the last few months, and the two previous doctors that I saw just couldn’t resolve the issue. He explained my treatment options, recommended additional changes I could apply to my lifestyle to improve this issue, and I’ll be back to see him in 2 weeks to follow up!
It’s a smaller office, but allows for a more intimate/ 1:1 session with the doctor rather than 4 different nurses. When I arrived it was not jam packed and I was seen within 15 mins.
I really don’t have any complaints and looking forward to feeling better!

Wonderful, thoughtful doctor. But office is cash only , even for copays. They should really get a square or Venmo, anything. Dr Qaisar spent a lot of time with me- I’d been sick for weeks and dismissed by other doctors. He gave me the right combination of care and medicine to finally get better. I will definitely return to him. Very good. Very kind.

Wow what a great doctor. He is very honest and slightly harsh but I am a sensitive person and do not like to be told what I already know is an issue sometimes. I appreciate the honesty he is still very polite and I am glad I finally got down to the cause of my issues. I had been struggling with coughing up mucus for years and thankfully he has helped me clear this up. Strongly recommend this doctor if you have gone to many doctors and have had no results. He educates you on your lungs and the functions that may have been disrupted. The entire appointment was about 1 hour and 15 mins which is the longest I have even had one on one with any doctor but I am glad he explained where things can go wrong with our respiratory system. I have a brand new outlook on how to treat my lungs now.
