Dr. Livitz was born in St. Petersburg (Leningrad), Russia. She graduated with top honors from St. Petersburg Medical Academy and completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at St. Petersburg Postgraduate Medical Institute. Upon completion of her fellowship, Dr. Livitz worked as a rheumatologist consultant at the City Rheumatologic Center in St. Petersburg.
Dr. Livitz obtained her second medical degree, Doctor of Osteopathy, from NYCOM. She completed her residency training at Nassau University Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital in Plainview.
Dr. Livitz is Boeard Certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. She is an active member of the American Osteopathic College of Rheumatology. Dr. Livitz specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders- back pain, arthristis and fibromyalgia.
