About Dr. Johnson Zhang
Dr. Johnson Zhang, DO, MBS, is a board certified family physician with extensive training in preventative medicine and primary care medicine along with ample experience in sports medicine, weight loss management, and nutrition consultation. He attained his undergraduate degree from New York University and acquired his master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his medical studies at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training with St. Joseph’s Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY. He has practiced in New Jersey and New York City acquiring a myriad of different skill sets to better serve his patients.
Dr. Zhang focuses on individualized, patient-centered medicine. He has an understanding perspective and approaches patient care from different angles. He includes conservative modalities alongside new and progressive evidence-based medicine in his pursuit to provide elite care. As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Zhang treats each concern with the whole body in mind, as opposed to focusing on singular systems. He will listen intently and work up your concerns with care.
When Dr. Zhang is outside of his practice, he can be seen chasing his wife and daughter throughout the park or sitting back and enjoying a weekend of football in the Premier League.

I booked an appointment with Dr. Johnson Zhang, and I gotta say he's the best physician I've ever visited! He explained and broke down all of my questions, not making me feel dumb, and happy to explain. He was very attentive and had a nice sense of humor throughout, which calmed my nerves. You can tell he's a people person. Would definitely recommend him to any ages.

It didn’t feel like a doctor’s office visit. I mean that in the best way possible. Dr. Zhang was friendly, informative and very responsive to all my questions. He took his time and if there was something I didn’t understand he patiently explained it again in a way that I could.
Physicians assistant and front desk were all very polite and welcoming as well. I’m extremely glad to have found this medical office.

This was my first visit and upon checking my insurance the front desk said I was not in network. After speaking with my insurance they explained to them I was in fact in network. I was not happy about the confusion as it could have impacted me getting the care I needed to be in better health. They need to have a better process in place in future.

I feel like one of the hardest things to find is a good doctor and I've been on the hunt for a really long time. When I had an appointment with Dr. Zhang he instantly made me feel comfortable and was super helpful in explaining things while being very attentive (some doctors made me feel a little stupid asking certain questions but didnt feel that way with Dr. Zhang). I honestly felt like I found a doctor who I would be with for a long time.
