With over 15 years of experience in psychiatric mental health treatment of individuals from all age groups, I am here to help you. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wilkes University, a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, and a Bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University. I am skilled in treating anxiety, depression, panic, mood disorders, obsessions/compulsions, alcohol, opioid, nicotine, and other substance addictions, as well as other disorders. As your practitioner, I will work diligently with you to develop a treatment plan and schedule regular sessions to support your well-being. Treatment plans include, but are not limited to, medication management, supportive psychotherapy, and counseling.

I would not recommend this woman at all. I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday at 1pm, did not call me. I tried reaching out to her and no answer. I left a voicemail in regards to the appointment and no response but on the following Sunday she called me like there was no problem.
If she can’t answer a simple call to follow up an appointment then how are people supposed to reliably call her for mental health.

This doctor was very nice but would not prescribe any of the medications I needed and have been on for years. If you are on any controlled medications DO NOT see this provider - she'll refuse to prescribe them.

She talks way too much and was off topic on a tangent for half the visit. After talking my ear off for 45 min she informs me that she couldn’t help me and would not refill my medication. If you are on any controlled substances don’t waste your time because she does not prescribe those. Complete waste of time.

Dr. barley really led me in a great direction; she’s an great listener and great communicator. Opening up to any health care professionals is hard and she made it so easy. With that being said I am waiting on my prescription to be sent to my pharmacy still.

I was originally worried because she had some technical issues that prevented her from sending a video link, but she thankfully reached out and left me a voicemail explaining the situation. I am incredibly grateful that I was able to be seen with less than 24 hours of notice, as I really needed an appointment. She was kind, helpful, and I will be continuing to see her.

This psychiatric APN was excellent. She was so incredibly warm and empathetic not just asking about current symptoms but also looking to the root causes. She was incredibly validating. As someone who works in this field as well I was so impressed with how incredibly compassionate she was throughout the appointment. Will def recommend her to someone in need of help. Left the appointment excited and hopeful that I will be feeling better.

I was happy the Dr was on time that appointment, but that's about all I could say nicely. while talking she would forget what I was saying and I would have to repeat and clarify more than once. my meds, she told me one thing, then prescribed different mg and names of meds. no idea how to get ahold to know what I should have done. or ask why she changed them when she said she wouldn't. also, while on our first call, we made the 2 week follow up appointment which she never came to.
