Spending summer vacations and days off in her mother’s dental office ignited her chosen career path. Driven and ambitious, Dr. Rodriguez graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University Of Puerto Rico School Of Dentistry, and has continued to build an impressive portfolio of educational and professional accomplishments. She holds a certificate for General Practice Residency from Miami Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, and Jackson Memorial Hospital. She graduated from the Periodontology Program at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Her extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease, as well as Implant Dentistry are integral to her success. With a focus on prevention, each patient receives a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. There are no generic protocols, each treatment plan is customized to fit the patient’s personalized needs and health goals.

Married to an architect, Dr. Rodriguez has a 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son. With a zest for life, she begins every day by saying “Today, is going to be a great day!” Away from the dental chair, she enjoys entertaining friends at home, wining and dining, and traveling.

After the removal of four wisdom teeth and laser surgery to remove a bacteria, I was fearful I was going to be in pain for days, weeks and possibly months. I am happy to say that I felt no pain during and after the procedure. Going to Dr. Rodriguez dispelled every myth I had about going to the dentist. I now look forward to going to the dentist. I am so grateful she acted with such care and professionalism. It was not just her. The whole staff is great. I recommend her without reservation.

Dr. Rodriquez is very knowledgeable in her field, takes the time to think outside the box when needed as was my case, and explains the best possible treatment for her patients. Her manner is calm, funny, yet very professional. For someone who is terrified of shots,
DRILLS, or any dental equipment in their mouth I managed to doze off while Dr. Rodriguez was going full blast on my gums! I highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez for her expertise, friendly staff, and her desire to help you.

Katherine Rodriquez, DMD, is a five star Periodontist. I had laser surgery done by her for periodontist disease in May of this year (2016). I went from needing to have 10 to 13 teeth extracted to just having one teeth extracted. I could personally feel some looseness of teeth on both sides of the top of my mouth before the surgery. After surgery all teeth feels tight now, gums look health, and I have no pain. Through fear, prayer and tears miraculously I surfed the web and discovered her. She was the second periodontist I visited for an opinion, and I chose her. Important: periodontist disease will not go away; it must be treated. You will be numbed to prevent pain, given pain medicine, and any pain is very minimal. So don't be afraid. Laser treatment is less invasive then scaling. Before having any of your teeth extracted give her a visit. October 13th was my second 3-month follow-up maintenance visit. Her staff is excellent, polite and very informative. Good location, parking is free, credit cards are accepted, and financial service available.

Every time I visit the office, I have a great experience.
Dr. Rodriguez did a Gum Graft for my receding gums. The process was easy and discomfort was very minimal. I went on a cruise the week after my procedure and had fun!
Now my gums look great, I'm out of the danger zone. All I have to do now is continue my Dental Health Wellness appointments with my hygienist, who will keep me healthy for the rest of my life.

The best periodontist in the world. Dr. Rodriguez has impressed me form the first exam. Very thorough. They take my blood pressure check for oral cancer cavities dental work that may be needed. This is an office where I can relax and feel cared for like I am family.

my teeth she clearly explained each step. She answered all my questions. She 'taught' me how to best take care of my teeth-dental hygiene: excellent teaching skills/ natural born teacher.
