Patient reviews for Dr. Keisha Endsley McEwen
I was a first time patient, and thus I arrived 40-60 minutes prior to my appointment time to accommodate extra paperwork, etc. Following completing the requisite information (on a tablet), I waited probably 10 minutes past my appointment time. The nurses that I encountered seemed professional and nice, but I appreciated Dr. McEwan's conversational nature during the appointment. My husband and I will be trying to conceive in a few months, and she was very pro-active in recommending pre-natal vitamins and noting that while I had issues with anxiety and was currently on a prescription, offered that there are options for anxiety management during pregnancy without judging. The actual exam took probably less than 2 minutes and didn't feel as "exposed" as I have in the past. Overall, for a first-time patient, I feel comfortable and confident in their care.
I hate the requirement to even give one star to this horrible office. Wrote down wrong reason for visit and greatly overcharged me (even knowing that I was paying out of pocket), provided a service I didn't want instead of refunding my money (so I would "get my money's worth"), did not provide testing that was my main reason for being there, doctor couldn't get out quickly enough and wasn't interested in answering my questions. The office has no communication and were extremely rude and not helpful when I called for assistance. Now I need to go to a new doctor with a different practice and lost a great deal of money and still have an obvious infection 5 weeks after my visit that they refuse to treat.
Great visit! In and out! Very clean!
I loved her and her staffs energy!!! Amazing!!
A great visit! Excellent at answering my questions, and the exam was really quick and painless
I really liked Dr. McEwen. She was very personable and sweet when I got upset over a past medical issue. I appreciated her listening to my concerns, and I didn't feel rushed. The staff was all very nice and made me feel comfortable. My only 2 issues: 1) it's a little difficult to get to the office. You're in a big hospital complex, parking took forever (it's in a massive deck that was super crowded) and the building was confusing. Give yourself at least 20 minutes if you're a first time patient. 2) I asked about alternative options to the pill for birth control. I was very interested in the arm implant (Nexplanon) and Dr. McEwen suggested it as a good option for me and my needs. However, I have a history of anxiety, and after reading reviews of Nexplanon after my visit, it has horrible reviews and I think it could exacerbate my anxiety too much. Not really Dr. McEwen's fault for not sharing that with me (I did tell the office I have a history of anxiety) but it would be helpful to learn more about potential side effects when discussing options that can have a big impact on the body and overall health.
Well worth the wait while she was in surgery, Dr. McEwen made an appointment I was very anxious and overwhelmed about a comfortable experience. Highly recommend.
The whole office was so kind and full of women that made you feel welcome. Dr. McEwen was wonderful, very open and mindful. Will definitely be going back for my annual next year.
I was a little nervous at first since I had never been before. Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. McEwen was very helpful. Sign in went smooth and Journey (nurse) was awesome. My only issue is that they need a bigger space but they all made it work. Dr. McEwen was really thorough. I felt like I was in a therapy session lol. Her bedside manner made me comfortable and I felt like she really wanted what was best. I almost forgot I was in a doctor's office. Shay was able to take two forms of payment from me as I was trying to use the remainder of my FSA which was so convenient. The whole staff was professional and patient. Thanks ladies!
Great staff and fast wait time
Nice and informative when I asked questions concerning my health
New to Atlanta and just tried a place with an appointment. She made me feel comfortable, asked me questions, and offered me multiple opportunities to ask questions. Coming back next year!
Dr. McEwen was very professional and had a great bedside manner. The overall experience at her office was great, and she answered all of my questions thoughtfully. Since her office was in the hospital building, it was a little difficult to find. Other than that, it was a great experience!
The office called to tell me I had some abnormal text results and said I had to come in (and pay my co-pay, shocker) for an appointment to know what was wrong with me, then they proceeded to tell me they couldn’t get me in for two weeks!!!! When I asked them to just tell me over the phone they said they couldn’t, so I asked them to upload them to the secure patient portal and they refused until I came in for an appointment!! It wasn’t until I freaked out on them that they made some time available the next day. This is just a way for them to get as much money from you as possible. I won’t be going back.
Very pleased. Fast but thorough. I will return
She was very knowledgeable and very considerate I would recommend her any time of day
Very pleasant visit.
Loved her smart efficient personable and awesome office and staff extremely upscale
Awesome although the check in process is not user friendly and duplicated or missing signs make the office hard to find.
Dr. McEwen was very professional and made you feel comfortable right away. The facility was clean and I was impressed with the high tech measures they have implemented.
She took her time and listened to my concerns, as well as address them.
The wait was a little longer than I expected, but it was well worth it! Dr. McEwen & the rest of the staff were all great, definitely recommend!
Dr. McEwen was very professional and friendly, and I felt very comfortable with her. She answered my questions and provided great advice.
I love love loved my experience with Dr. McEwen. She's wonderful, thorough, and kind. I will 100% be going back to her again!
Great doctor, very personable. Staff was also very personable. The wait was quite short and all needs were met efficiently. Definitely planning on returning for future women's health needs.
I really enjoyed my visit to Dr. McEwen's office. The front office staff was very pleasant and I had a really wonderful nurse. Dr. McEwen listened to all my questions and gave me feedback that respected my decision making capacity. I'm really happy to have found a gyno home
