Dr. Keith Harris, a native of Washington, D.C. received his undergraduate degree from Brown University, Providence, R.I. He received his Medical Degree and Master's of Public Health from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. Dr. Harris received his post-graduate training as an Internal Medicine intern at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. His Dermatology residency training was completed at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
Following successful completion of his training, Dr. Harris has spent his dermatology career in private practice initially in Detroit, MI and Providence and Newport, R.I. The last 18 years of his career have been in Georgia serving patients in Bartow, Floyd, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties. Dr Harris’ primary focus is medical and surgical dermatology and some cosmetic dermatology.
Along with his Masters of Public Health, Dr. Harris takes a blended approach to patient care-making patient education and informed mutual decision making a top priority. His public health interest and patient education have landed him on the beaches of Newport, R.I., Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, Braves baseball stadium, and the Floyd County Health Department volunteering and staffing skin cancer screenings and health fairs. He also enjoys mentoring and speaking at career days from the elementary, high school to the post-graduate levels.
Dr. Harris is a member of several medical societies, including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, National Medical Association, American Public Health Association, and Medical Association of Georgia.
Outside of work, Dr. Harris enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, theater, and the arts in general.

Dr. Harris was very nice, however, office staff may not be so equipped. The prescription provided was cancelled without any alternative or update. Both myself and pharmacy have called several times, and no one ever answers the phone, or follows up after leaving a voicemail.
