About Dr. Kristina Olson-Kuyper
Kristina’s Philosophy of Medicine:
Supporting individuals at every stage of life—from infancy through adulthood—is at the heart of her practice. Kristina offers personalized, holistic care that blends natural and conventional therapies to meet the unique needs of each family member. Whether providing preventive care or managing chronic conditions, she works closely with patients to educate, empower, and guide them toward lasting wellness. Her approach is rooted in compassionate listening, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person’s health journey. With this in mind, new patients will need to establish care to provide a complete health history prior to having any medications prescribed or procedures done.
Kristina earned her naturopathic medical degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2011 and completed over 1,200 hours of clinical training in primary care, pediatrics, and midwifery at Vibrant Family Medicine in Gresham, Oregon. After graduating, she joined their team of naturopathic midwives, where she deepened her skills as a full-spectrum family physician. In 2013, Kristina completed a year-long residency in women’s health with Dr. Kimberly Suriano and Dr. Lara Williams, OBGYN, enhancing her expertise in women’s and hormonal health.
Kristina’s training has equipped her to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of health concerns from both conventional and natural perspectives. Her treatment plans often include herbal medicine, nutrition, pharmaceuticals when needed, and lifestyle counseling. Office visits with Kristina are collaborative and educational—enabling patients to feel informed, empowered, and confident in their care decisions.
In her free time Kristina enjoys volunteering, backpacking and hanging with her two boys at Alki beach.

My appointment with Dr. Olson Kuyper went great! I was seen right away, and we got right into my current state of health and concerns that I had. I felt like she really listened and was attentive to my concerns, and finding the solution that might work best for me with lots of empathy and no judgement. I feel like she really helped me chart a path to a healthier 2020 and beyond. As someone who has been extremely hesitant to seek healthcare in the past, I have to say that I am really looking forward to my follow up appointment with her next month!
