Over the course of my mental health care, Kyle Brown is my favorite provider. Kyle's personality is warm, inviting, and encouraging. I have always felt like I can be my most authentic self without the fear of stigmatization or bias. So I have always felt heard as a person and a patient. For example, when it comes to medication management, Kyle goes above and beyond to ensure that all of my concerns have been addressed (cost, side effects, hearsay, etc.) before moving forward with a treatment plan. And if a medication stops working as intended, he's never been afraid to re-evaluate and hit the drawing board.

As a longtime Colorado resident, I understand the importance of mental health and the challenges of finding supportive, quality mental health care. Knowing this, I became a dual board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority in Colorado. I earned my Master’s in Family Health Nursing and a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. I have over 16 years of dynamic experience in healthcare, including pediatrics, communicable disease control, integrated family practice, and outpatient psychiatry. I have a passion for current research and treatment therapies in psychiatry, focusing on both pharmacological and non-medication management of psychiatric disorders. I have a particular interest in ADHD, mood disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
I provide a stigma- and judgment-free environment, collaborating with other mental health and medical professionals as needed. Striving for excellent patient-centered care and promoting sustainable well-being are hallmarks of my philosophy on psychiatric treatment for my clients.
I can help with evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management of various psychiatric disorders such as depression and other mood disorders, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, and many other mental health conditions. I also offer solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking long road trips, playing guitar, and board games with friends.
