We opened City Acupuncture in 2008 with one simple mission: to make alternative medicine more accessible and affordable so that more people could benefit from these remarkable – and remarkably effective – treatments.
Since then, we have grown into one of the largest acupuncture centers in the country. More importantly, we’ve helped thousands of people alleviate pain, manage stress, and attend to a wide variety of diseases and disorders - without dangerous drugs or surgery.
Through all of the growth and changes, our focus remains the same. We are constantly striving to provide the highest quality medical care for the lowest possible cost. After all these years, we believe more firmly than ever that City Acupuncture offers the best alternative medicine experience in New York, and we hope you will call or email us to give it a try.
Laura Perry is a New York State licensed and board certified (NCCAOM Diplomate) acupuncturist, who earned a Master of Science degree in acupuncture from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York. Her clinical training included the study of Japanese acupuncture (Meridian and Kiiko Matsumoto styles), Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM). APM is the fusion of Classical Chinese, French and Japanese meridian styles of acupuncture with the western approach of myofascial trigger point release. Additionally, Laura studied at the Beijing Traditional Medicine Training Center and the Nanjing International Acupuncture Training Center in China. Laura currently practices privately as well as at City Acupuncture New York, a high-volume community clinic in downtown Manhattan.
