Dr. Forrester gives a lot of information in a very supportive manner and never gives the impression of being rushed. He discusses new scientific research findings and possible treatment options to help explain what tests are being ordered. He’s very receptive to questions, and celebrates any progress that you have made. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Forrester was very thorough, patient and listened well. He did not rush my visit. I am confident that he will get me on the right track. The staff was also very pleasant and professional.

Leighton Forrester, MD attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency and chief residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University in 1993. Dr. Forrester also completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at MedStar Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University in 1996.
Dr. Forrester has been in practice in the local area for the past 18 years. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Montgomery County Medical Society and the Association of Black Cardiologists. His medical interests include adjunctive and alternative approaches to the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and strategies for patient empowerment and improving patient outcomes.

The wait time was less than 30 minutes. Dr.. Forester presents himself as a knowledgeable and caring doctor. He assessed my medical background. Ordered some test to determine if positive changes could be made. He is the first doctor I've had that was willing to check my concerns fully. Pleasant experience.
