Letoshia Foster grew up in the community of South Central-Los Angeles, California. She earned her associate degree and bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, California. In 1994 Dr. Foster received a master’s in nursing from the University of California, Los Angeles, and later a post-master’s degree, also in nursing, from California State Dominguez Hills. She developed an interest in socio-cultural health disparities. In addition, Dr. Foster holds a master’s degree in medical anthropology, and a PhD in history from the University of Memphis. Her dissertation focused nineteenth and twentieth century health issues among African Americans in Memphis, Tennessee. Healthcare specialties include Family Practice, Gastroenterology with an emphasis in Hepatitis C treatment. In addition, she has experience in women’s health and pediatrics including childhood obesity management.

They kept trying to have me book an additional appointment to get test results vs just getting the results over the phone or in a portal. The whole experience was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. This includes the waiting and exam room experience. I still have not received my test results since I refused to book an additional appointment and requested to receive them via phone, email, or mail. I would not recommend going here.

Nurse Practitioner, not a Doctor. Very condescending and dismissive to patient concerns/feelings. Was able to get help elsewhere. Waited about an hour for Nurse Practitioner to assist me, appreciated follow up call.
