The space was large , which was good. My appointment was at 12:30 ,didn’t get to see the Dr, the appropriate time that I scheduled, until 90 mins after, overall staff was very pleasant, especially Dr. Pierre

Considering the place being crowed on a Saturday morning, waiting between 45 - 60 minutes to go through the entire process of an examination isn't bad. Yes, I would recommend Shades of Brooklyn to family and friends.-

The facility is really worn down and probably hasn't seen a renovation since it's opened. Carpet is coming up and just a lot of wear and tear everywhere you look. The staff was really polite and they took care of me. Not sure if I will return though.

Very professional Doctor. The wait time was all of 5 minutes. They receptionist printed up my pre-filled out documents when I arrived. Dr. Pierre was very kind and easygoing. He spoke like he wanted to get to know my issues with my eyes better. I definitely enjoyed the experience.

Initial visit went well, got everything done and ordered my glasses. Told Doc ill be going out of town Monday so will order later he assured me he can get it done for pickup Saturday after noon. Went today Saturday, waited 10-15 minutes for the worker to come back and let me know, the lense didn't arrive and even if they arrive today, the person for fitting wasn't there today. I understand things happen, all they needed to do to not leave a bad taste in my mouth was to make a curtesy call to me and let me know that. I used funds to travel to location, I had to make other plans to accommodate their pickup time, I was to leave Westchester at 10 that morning but had to adjust my schedule bc of the time I was told to pickup the glasses. The worker who provided the pickup ticket told me by noon it should be ready, if they were still waiting on lense, knowing the person who fits the lense wasn't there, there was no way my glasses would be ready. One simple 2 seconds call makes a world of difference. Sour grapes.
