Dr. Marsha McNeely is a dermatologist board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology in clinical & laboratory dermatological immunology. Dr. McNeely sees patients in Chevy Chase, MD, and is fluent in English and Spanish. She is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. McNeely obtained her doctoral degree in human genetics and biochemistry and a medical degree from the University of Texas. Subsequently, she completed an internal medicine internship and her dermatology residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals. She also pursued a fellowship in immunological dermatology at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. Dr. McNeely actively contributes to clinical research. She has published studies on dermatologic complications associated with the administration of 2′,3′-dideoxycytidine in patients with human immunodeficiency virus infection, nevus sebaceous associated with major ophthalmologic abnormalities, and the role of circulating immune complexes in human secondary syphilis.
