I truly enjoy the practice of medicine in its purest form. As a result of my 17 years of practice I have realized that the doctor patient relationship is fundamental to the successful practice. I find great satisfaction in developing a compassionate, long-lasting and personal relationship with my patients. This fosters a more open line of communications and ultimately allows me to advocate and partner with my patients regarding various medical treatment decisions.
Preventive medicine and wellness spark great interest with me. Maintaining health and wellness rather than treating disease is my greatest goal. I look forward to empowering my patients to achieve their health and wellness goals and I love to see their happiness when they realize that they have succeeded.

The wait time was extremely long, and the cancellation policy is ridiculous. I felt as though Dr George ran a lot of unnecessary tests and was more focused on the follow up visit then our current interaction.

This was both my preliminary consultation and a sick visit, as I seem to be constantly ill. She got to know me, assessed my ailments, and prescribed me what I needed and suggested mindful healthy options for stability. I've never had an internist listen to the background of my stress and offer both empathy as well as advice. I love her approach and her promises of compassionate care.
The office is beautiful, the staff is magnificent, and the care is top notch.

I was EXTREMELY put off when, after I told her about some (mild) digestive issues I've been having of late, she immediately suggest I cut gluten out of my diet. No testing for allergies, no asking about family history, just "no more gluten". I have no patience for doctors eager to hop on the latest food fad.

Am hardly one to admit I need to see a doctor because of past experiences with waiting, amount of paperwork, and the lack of care they themselves display. However, Doctor Mary George was amazing. She was genuinely caring and brilliant. I honestly felt blessed to have found her and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
