Great experience, I haven’t been to the gyno in a while and I was worried I’d be judged for not going regularly but Mary Helen made sure I was all set and she answered all my questions and asked things I didn’t even know could effect me! She was amazing and we even had a laugh or two. Very kind and she listens (even when you ramble) I’m confident in her care and I booked my next appointment with her already

I am extremely grateful to have had Dr. Darcy for an appointment. I was urgently in need of seeing someone, but my existing provider didn't have availability until June. I was honestly really disappointed in this doctor, I had read lots of good reviews and was anxious about finding a new gynecologist but was feeling confident - unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back. She didn't listen to anything I had to say, dismissed that I wanted to get an IUD, wrote me a prescription for a birth control pill that I did not want to take, didn't seem to hear me when I said that I'd had side effects from multiple hormonal birth control methods before, made assumptions about my intention to have kids, without asking first, and said that the pill would "clear up my skin" when I hadn't said anything about my skin in the first place. I felt very dismissed and not listened to at all. Will definitely be finding a new gyno for the future.

Nurse Darcy was knowledgeable and patient. She spent a great deal of time discussing options with me. She offered plusses and minuses so I could make an informed decision about my own care.
The only thing I would suggest is for her to make eye contact and introduce herself when she walks into the room. A lot of practitioners are still working on the transition to electronic medical records and do not face the patient. It took her 10 minutes to even look me in the eye. That said, once she was away the computer, she was a fantastic communicator.

Maryhelen has taken me in for random appointments I've needed over the summer, and has got to know me on a personal level that I am completely comfortable talking with her. She is a great doctor. I give her 5 stars! :)
