About Dr. Melanie Freire
Dr. Melanie Freire is a board-certified chiropractor serving patients in New York at both Grand Central Pain Relief Center and Wall Street Pain Relief Center. She is committed to delivering comprehensive chiropractic care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and enjoys working with both children and adults.
Dr. Freire earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport, following her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at Kean University. She is trained in several chiropractic techniques, including Diversified Adjustments, Thompson Technique, Cox Flexion and Distraction, and the Activator Method.
To further support her patients' recovery and wellness, she utilizes advanced therapeutic modalities such as low-level laser therapy, shock wave therapy, and ultrasound. Her patient-centered approach focuses on restoring function, reducing pain, and promoting overall well-being.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Freire provides accessible care to patients from diverse backgrounds. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and hiking with her three dogs.

The front desk was super helpful with my care and insurance, and Dr. Melanie was amazing, she really helped relieve my neck and shoulder pain that was bothering me for quite some time now.
