Melodie Zamora, MD, is a native Texan who returned to practice obstetrics and gynecology following her medical training. Dr. Zamora gained unique insights through research positions and co-authored several papers. Ultimately, she chose to pursue the clinical side of medicine because of her commitment to helping women feel their best at every age and stage of life.
Dr. Zamora has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, hormone replacement therapy for menopause management, as well as adolescent medicine, and contraception management. On a personal basis, Dr. Zamora enjoys trying interesting restaurants and cooking and painting, and theatre. She loves spending time with her family and pets.

It’s been 50 minutes and I haven’t seen my provider yet for my appointment. My appointment was rescheduled THREE times this month alone!! The front desk lady Ann Marie forgot to press the mute button while having me on hold and said that she double booked me and I was the lucky patient to be rescheduled. I’m in my second trimester and have only seen my Dr. once and that was to confirm my pregnancy. I have yet to even get a pap smear yet they charged my insurance for one. Front desk women are so demeaning and will talk about other patients in front of everyone. Be ready to get treated like a second class citizen.

This was my first annual exam and I was super nervous but all the staff were very kind. Although I had a lot of anxiety and a few tears Dr. Zamora was very understanding and explained everything as she performed the exam and did everything she could to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. I’m glad I had my first exam there and will for sure be going back in the future. Process was quick and I didn’t have to wait long.

I've had a streak of bad providers lately, so it was absolutely refreshing to have Dr. Zamora during this visit. There was definitely a long wait, but all the staff were very nice and courteous.
Dr. Zamora listened and even though she was running late to her appointments on this date, she didn't rush anything and made sure all my questions were answered. She provided alternatives and explained the why of each.
Again, very appreciative of her care during this visit. I've found my OBG in San Antonio!

Dr. Zamora was unbelievably sweet and upbeat and listened to my list of concerns. She addressed them and was willing to provide blood work that I asked for in addition to a few tests to address my specific symptoms. Yes, she’s busy and in a hurry, but unlike other doctors she doesn’t seem bitter about it. I would definitely recommend her and I’m so glad I found her.

Overall from the front desk, friendly staff and comfort feel of the office, made my visit go really well. Considering having to find another obgyn is always nerve racking but Dr Zamora was great exactly what I needed, she was lovely.

Womanly check ups can be awkward and uncomfortable, but this was not! I was greeted by friendly staff at the front desk and the nurses and doctor were all super friendly and nice. I would highly recommend!!

Omg!!! I love this OBGYN. It was very important for me to have a doctor that is diverse being a black female. I need someone that I can feel comfortable with. I love the staff super sweet and friendly. The office was so clean and decorations was cute. They even have charging station on the chairs while you wait. The Dr. Zamora and her staff was so easy to talk to. I was a little nervous but, once I got in I was able to calm my nerves down. They truly care about their patients. The phlebotomist was super sweet as well. She drew my blood only one time and I didn’t feel a thing. I set up an appointment for 2 weeks for a follow up for my issue. I was able to address my concerns with Dr. Zamora and gave her recommendations that I will follow. She is a good doctor if you are on the fence don’t be! She will get answers for you and assist with the issue. I am super happy I found this gem. ??
