The Doctor is fine, the wait is ALWAYS long and the admin staff need improvement!!!!!!!!!!
The doctor didn't come into the exam room for almost an hour after the nurse left and said the doctor would be in "soon." I understand doctors in private practice are busy but I consider one hour past my appointment time to be way too long of a wait. She did not apologize for being an hour late to see me and didn't even acknowledge it. I also found the doctor to have an overly simplistic view of a complex issue that I have (alcohol abuse/addiction). She stated I should "just stop drinking", which to me indicates a real lack of understanding about substance abuse/addiction. I was just trying to establish a PCP, but I strongly doubt I'll be going back to her.
Friendly front desk staff, nurse, and doctor! Beware of entering the wrong building on accident. The door marked "professional offices" is actually the next building over.
She was awesome! You have to meet with her before she does an annual physical, but she's a really good doctor and I'm glad to have her as my PCP. Just make sure that you bring cash when you go because the parking under the building is pay to park
Wow! so personable. Not only Dr. Hashemi but, the whole staff. This was my first visit to the office. I look forward to my follow-up and I can't wait to bring my mother to her as well. Dr. is a geriatrician!!
2nd time with the doc. she is wonderful .Once the nurse sees you its a long wait until the doc comes in .She is so great its worth the wait...
She is my regular physician and very supportive. I have had no problems going to her for the two years I have lived in Silver Spring. Wait time is not long, sometimes I am seen immediately, or I just have a short wait. Her staff are friendly, too.
The doctor was great but her staff were terrible. They were rude, unprofessional, and refused to give me my blood test results.
This was my first visit with Dr.Hashmei. Bit of a distance from my house to the office but once I met with her it was worth the ride. She is a good listener and very patient and sweet lady. I left the my appt. feeling satisfied . I will recommend her to anybody.
Dr. Hashemi was very kind, thorough and pleasant and I look forward to going to my next appointment and establishing a good doctor-patient relationship in the future.
She was reassuring and eased my fears.
I really like Dr. Hashemi. I felt comfortable with her immediately. She showed concern for my well being. She is very kind and personable. She was thorough & obviously very knowledgeable and professional. She just gave me a very good feeling. - Anna W.
Very good appointment with the doctor, however it was over an hour before seeing her...and that's only counting from my actual appointment time, as I had shown up about 20 minutes prior to fill out paperwork. The staff at the front desk were also very nice. Weight time is the only complaint.
It was great I felt very comfortable.
She is awesome
Very professional and easy to talk to. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Dr. Hashemi was really kind and thorough, and she answered all of my questions. I went to her as a new patient and really liked her. The only catch is that it was almost an hour between the nurse checking me and then her coming in to talk. Then, when she ordered some tests, it was another half hour or so, making the appointment about 2 hours for an annual physical. However, maybe that was the new patient thing going on. In any case, I will still keep her as my physician.
