I was born and raised in Ohio along with my twin brother, Dr. Paul Baker. At a very young age, both of our eyes were opened to the power of chiropractic care. I suffered from asthma and this condition prevented me from doing a lot of the things all kids should be able to do. Our father was a doctor of osteopathic medicine and like most doctors, treated my asthma by administering shots and prescribing medications and the use of inhalers. All of which are very scary and inconvenient to a young child.
When I was six years old, my father took me to a cousin who was a doctor of chiropractic. He was able to properly diagnose the cause of my asthma and successfully treat me with chiropractic care, curing me of that condition and enabling me to do things I was never able to do before. From that moment on, my brother and I were on a mission to become chiropractors and help give people back their health and well being like our cousin was able to give us. At that young age, I developed a love for health, nutrition and the benefits of chiropractic care. That knowledge and understanding was a tremendous advantage for me as a competitive high school athlete and a body builder. I take great pleasure and satisfaction in being a chiropractor as well as a Personal Fitness Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach.
