As a family physician, I place a great deal of importance on chronic disease management, and reducing risk factors for heart attacks, strokes, cancer, and other diseases. With my experience I can also handle most acute medical problems that arise. If the need arises, however, for referral to a specialist, as an independent physician I have full flexibility to send my patients to the the best possible providers for further evaluation and treatment, and am able to send patients to specialists within the Franciscan, Multicare, Group Health, or independent medical community for outstanding care.
In April, 2013, Deb Berger, ARNP joined our office family. She has great experience in all areas of women's healthcare, and nicely rounds out the outstanding care we provide for all of our patients. She believes that compassionate care and respect are essential in order to work collaboratively with patients to improve both their physical and mental well-being.
My office and medical assistants have been with me for years and enjoy meeting our patients' high quality standards in patient customer service.

The appt was for establishing care with a new doctor and I chose Dr. Vance for 2 reasons, the smile in his picture and the fact he has a solo practice. There wasn't really enough time spent to determine much of anything on this visit.

I am usually very nervous about doctor visits, especially male doctors. At Dr, Vance's office everyone was very polite and made me feel so welcome. Dr. Vance made me feel at ease and relaxed. He was very friendly and assured me that by making him my primary care physician I always had somewhere to go for any and every medical question or issue. With him as my doctor I know I won't have any problem with making future appointments.
