Dr. Richard Aubry has worked as a Primary Care and Urgent Care physician for over 30 years. During his college experience he discovered an interest in mind-body relationships in health and states of illness and set a goal of becoming a Family Physician. After completing his training in Central New York, in 1992, Dr. Aubry joined a private practice near Boston, MA. where he provided both outpatient and inpatient care for over 10 years. He then joined a Community Health Center with Boston Medical Center where he provided medical care for a multiethnic and multicultural population. In 2013 he began work as an Urgent Care physician, working through the challenging pandemic period beofe joining Carbon Health in the summer of 2022.
Recognizing the demand for Primary Care access and the growing personal and financial burdens of chronic disease states like hypertension, diabetes and depression/anxiety, Dr. Aubry feels most fulfilled informing and educating patients about their medical conditions and providing motivational teaching moments and strategies to improve overall health and function.
Access to high quality, affordable and practical health care which includes an emphasis on nutrition, fitness and mental health is the only path to securing improvements in our nations’ s physical well being.
