Dr. Nuila Crouse was born and raised in San Salvador. He graduated from Medical school in 1976. He has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Houston area since 1986.
Dr. Nuila has extensive Obstetric and Gynecological experience, particularly in the area of minimally invasive surgery and laser laparoscopy for the treatment of endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain.
In addition to performing vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, he also performs reconstructive pelvic surgery for urinary stress incontinence, vaginal prolapse and rectal prolapses. He can discuss all forms of contraceptive options.
When he is not at work, he enjoys traveling, running and playing golf.

It was a great experience. The appointment was on time with minimal wait time. Everything was done within an acceptable wait time: the ultrasound that was not pre-booked. The doctor was courteous, and so were the other staff members. I hope it will go smoothly in my subsequent visits.

Overall, the experience was not terrible, but I feel it's important to bring up a concern. The nurse had asked me to undress for the exam, and the provider came in to consult with me beforehand. However, he needed to leave the exam room to retrieve a pen and left the door open. I thought it would be for just a moment, but it ended up being almost 4 minutes. While this may not seem like a significant issue to some, I felt uncomfortable not being able to close the door, as I feared being indecently exposed if someone walked by.
I understand this was likely an oversight, but as GYN appointments are very personal and private, I would have appreciated more privacy. I wanted to share this feedback for future improvement, though the overall experience was still pleasant.
