Dr. Ronald Ward graduated from Loyola University of Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1968. He attended the University of Southern California School of Medicine and obtained his MD degree in 1972. Dr. Ward started his post-graduate surgical training at Saint Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. His second post-graduate year of training was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Ward completed his Ear, Nose, and Throat Residency in 1982 at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, California.
He was on staff at the San Francisco Kaiser Permanente Medical Center for 25 years following completion of his residency. He served as Assistant Chief-of-Service and Chief-of-Service. Dr. Ward established his private practice in San Francisco in 2007, now in Larkspur and Pinole, California.

I absolutely would not recommend Doctor Ward. The bright side of the visit was that there was no wait and he got me in quickly but that's about the only good part of it. He definitely does NOT take Cigna Open Access Plus like the Zoc Doc profile says as I was sent a bill. Extremely disappointed in both this doctor and this service as a whole.

Enjoyed the visit. I got right in and doctor was welcoming and warm. Dr. Ward was thorough and helped me to understand my condition and what I could do to treat it. The only thing was that the office space is kind of small. I am grateful for my visit to Dr. Ward and I would recommend him to others!

Dr. Ward is very easy going and interesting to talk to. Seems very comfortable in his role as a specialist. My sense is he is conservative and safe, which is a big plus when working around someones ear!

Very caring took his time told me exactly what was going on and did some diagnosis that no other ENT's have. The news was not what I wanted to hear but he was upfront with prognosis. I recommend him highly.

I had been seeing Dr. Ward for more than a decade in San Francisco before he moved his practice to Larkspur. considering that I reside and work in San Francisco, I still consult with him in his new Larkspur location even if it means asking for more time off from work for the longer travel time, more gas and paying bridge toll, too, but it's well worth the time and expense for his skill, knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness, and for making me feel like a valued patient.

Knowledgable, experienced, I'd recommend him to anyone with a hearing problem before going to a hearing aid dispenser.
Don't be thrown off by the fact that his office is in a Laser Surgery center.
