Prior to joining Family Practice Specialists, Sara worked at a family practice clinic in Golden, CO. Born and raised in Michigan, Sara received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Saginaw Valley State University. She moved to Colorado and completed the University of Colorado Health Sciences Physician Assistant program, graduating in 1993. In 2006, Sara moved to Aberdeen, Scotland, where she practiced medicine with Scotland’s National Health Service.
Sara is a firm believer in partnering with her patients and educating them on conditions and prevention to help them take charge of their health. She also believes that laughter often is the best medicine.
In her free time, Sara enjoys gardening, spending time with her dog Roxie and renovating her home.
