" Hello, I’m Dr. Sekinat Kuku, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping adults, children, and families navigate complex challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, identity development, intergenerational conflict, and life transitions. I also support individuals exploring issues related to loss, resilience, and relationship dynamics. My goal is to provide a space where you feel empowered to process difficult experiences and develop a more connected, fulfilling life. My approach integrates person-centered and relational psychodynamic therapy with practical strategies from cognitive and behavioral modalities. Whether we’re exploring emotional patterns, developing coping skills, or working through societal pressures, I tailor our work to your unique story and evolving needs. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William Paterson University in New Jersey and have worked across a broad range of clinical settings, including trauma-informed programs, college counseling centers, and community mental health services. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals from intersectional identities and creating a safe, validating space where you can feel seen and supported.
