About Dr. Selma Hashimi
Dr. Hashimi's path in eye care started in New Jersey but found its true calling in Atlanta in 2010. She began her educational journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Augusta University. However, her passion led her to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she pursued her dream of becoming an optometrist.
During her optometry journey, Dr. Hashimi aimed for excellence. She took an Advanced Studies course in Anterior Segment disease, setting herself apart. Her dedication to providing exceptional care shines through her extensive training across various specialties, including:

I felt extremely comfortable and heard. Dr.Hashimi listened to my concerns about my eyes and worked hard to fit the perception for me. Ashley explained my insurance options to me and helped me find frames for a very good deal. Relfections has definitely become a home for me.

Dr. Hashimi, Ivy, and the staff at reflections are so wonderful! They made me feel very welcomed and were especially great at helping me pick out some cute frames! I was very thankful for the insight Dr. Hashimi gave me on my nearsightedness and how to be aware of my possible detached retinas it could cause, and how to contact them in case of that emergency. I had never known that could happen! I was very pleased with the visit and highly recommend Reflections.

I received multiple messages to make sure I attend the appointment and it wasn’t raining or storming or anything, but when I arrived to my appointment Early, there was a paper note on the door saying it was closed for the day. I used my gas and drive from working. This was unprofessional. I should’ve gotten alerts they were closed or shouldn’t have been able to book if it was closed and definitely not texted and emailed a bunch of times to ensure I showed up. If I can show up, the doctor is expected to show up. Publix was open. So.
