Dr. Seth Grossman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center. He further specialized with a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of California San Diego Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Grossman holds a master’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a clinical assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Throughout his medical training, he has been actively involved in clinical research and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Grossman prides himself on first exhausting all non-surgical treatment options. When surgery is necessary, he employs surgical techniques that achieve the best results for his patients while minimizing pain and allowing the fastest possible recovery. He is passionate about combining medicine and technology and specializes in robotically assisted spine surgery, disc replacement surgery, and minimally invasive techniques for both spinal decompression and spinal fusion surgery.

Great doctor. Listens to concerns patiently, and communicates clearly and effectively. Highly recommended. The receptionist on the other hand, could have been friendlier. She was unaware of my appointment and claimed I had a different time when I had the confirmation sent for my original time. She was not very accommodating or reassuring and did not make me feel welcomed.

Dr. Grossman is a great doctor. I feel like he’s very thorough. He will be performing a spinal fusion surgery on me soon and I know I will have a positive outcome after my recovery. Can not wait to be pain free!!!

Dr Grossman is very professional compassionate he actually listen to his patients and his bedside manner is amazing. The wait time is horrible they always give you an appt and they never call you on time. They workers are very slow and seem annoyed except the main clerk with the headpiece very knowledgeable and helpful. Please fix wait time

Let me be very clear. Too much of our healthcare experience today is predicated on insurance and not on providing genuinely good patient care. But Dr Grossman bunks the trend here. My visit with him showed that he's a physician who is human, empathetic, professional and knowledgable. His team and operations work like a military drill team, the efficiency was mind blowing. Did I have to wait 5 mins? Sure but what's 5 mins in the grand scheme? He's out of network for me but I'd pay my deductibles gladly to see him again, insurance be damned. He's that great. Highly recommended.

It turned out Dr. Grossman is not in my network. However, he saw me anyway. I perviously went to Dr. Tyorkin for a fractured elbow. Dr. Tyorkin barely saw me for a minute and made a couple of referrals. I was given a brace without any instructions. Dr. Grossman sat with me, explained my fractured and what to expect. The differences between the two doctors were night and day. Dr. Grossman, knowing that he wasnt getting paid for my visit, took his time during my visit and almost made me want to go out of network to keep him as my othropedic.
