Dr. Shani Belgrave is a leading bariatric surgeon in Atlanta, board-certified and fellowship-trained, dedicated to helping patients transform their health and reclaim their confidence through weight loss surgery in Atlanta. Recognized as one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors, she combines surgical expertise with compassion, empathy, and a highly personalized approach to every patient journey.
She earned her medical degree from Brown University, completed her general surgery residency at the University of Maryland, and pursued advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the University of Washington.
As the founder and CEO of Oneka Bariatrics in Atlanta, Dr. Belgrave created a boutique practice that goes beyond bariatric surgery—embracing wellness, empowerment, and lasting change. With extensive experience in gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, and other minimally invasive bariatric procedures, she emphasizes comprehensive care that includes nutrition, preventive health, and long-term support.
