About Dr. Shefali Shastri

Dr. Shefali Shastri, RMA New Jersey’s Clinical Director, and Physician Partner, is a longtime reproductive endocrinologist with RMA and has helped bring more than 2,000 babies into the world since joining the practice in 2009. She was initially inspired to pursue a career in women’s health and reproductive medicine by her mother, who practiced as an OB/GYN for over thirty years. Ultimately, the cutting-edge science and technology coupled with the strong physician-patient relationship compelled her to pursue a career in this field.
Dr. Shastri is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Obstetrician, and Gynecologist and holds a master’s in Physiology from Georgetown University. She earned her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her residency and fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility. Dr. Shastri is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
As a physician in this field, Dr. Shastri believes everyone’s path is unique, and it is important to empower patients to make informed decisions that are right for them.
