About Dr. Steven Tillem
Dr. Steven Tillem treats men and women with all types of urologic conditions, including in-office UroLift procedures for prostate enlargement, MRI/US fusion prostate biopsy, ?no scalpel' vasectomy, and outpatient surgery for kidney stones and erectile dysfunction. He has achieved UroLift Center of Excellence status due to his vast experience and excellent outcomes. Dr. Tillem also treats erectile dysfunction non-surgically and is certified to administer Xiaflex therapy for Peyronie's disease. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and completed his Urologic training and fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Tillem previously served as Division Chief of Queens Urology. His many academic honors include Phi Beta Kappa and AOA medical honor society. He has been named a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the New York Academy of Medicine, as well as Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Tillem was great, though I made a 10:00am appointment (right when the office opened) and was not seen until 11:30am. Not sure why it took so long to process my information, and multiple people who came in after me were seen before me.

Dr. Tillem is fine, but the wait time is ridiculous. My first appointment I waited over 2 hours... Also, just because you book on Zoc Doc doesn't mean you actually have an appointment with them—which is frustrating. You have to keep calling up after 1pm to see if there are cancellations.

The most incompetent and unprofessional office staff on the planet. I would not visit this office under any circumstances. Rude and obnoxious office staff. Stay away. There are many doctors who want your business and value their patients. This is not one of them.

You could not ask for a better doctor than Dr. Tillem. A really smart guy (so are many doctors), but this guy is really humble and

He was very nice, although I had to wait 45 minutes. He apologized for the wait asap and treated me with respect, asked all the right questions and scheduled a followup within 2 weeks. He also gave samples of a medication for the next 2 weeks until my follow up
