Dr Khalil was very kind. The birth control pills prescribed caused me to bleed every for 2 weeks straight and spot for 2 weeks. I was bleeding every day for months. I reached out to ask what to do or if I should be prescribed a different birth control. She never responded back. I feel discouraged and she's probably too busy.

This was my first appointment with Dr Khalil. She was simply amazing. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and took her time with me to answers my questions and concerns. Honestly, It was quite refreshing to find a doctor like her. I was very self conscious about something, but felt completely at ease talking to her about it. She was able to relate her past experience to my concerns, which helped reduce my nervousness. She has a great bedside manner, and helped my realize that my concerns are in fact valid. She ordered the necessary tests for me, but nothing that really wasn't needed. I feel really lucky to have found her.

Dr. Khalil attended medical school at the Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine. She then went on to pursue an internship and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Staten Island University Hospital. She is also fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, an AAGL accredited fellowship which she completed at Mount Sinai West and St. Luke’s (formerly Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center) in 2013. A caring and skilled professional, she attempts to help women understand their bodily functions and get them to be actively involved in the upkeep of their well-being.

Everyone at the office was very nice. There was a delay mid-appointment when Dr. Khalil had to take a sudden -- it turned out, emergency -- phone call, so I was left in the room with only the gown on for a while (at least it was cloth, not paper!). But, she returned *very* apologetic.
The unexpected delay was really the only downside to the appointment as a whole: considering the actual procedure took less than two minutes, without it, I would have been in and out of there in under an hour. I'll definitely go back.

Loved how relaxed she made me feel about everything. Asking me questions to get to the bottom of my visit. Only issue is that she was suppose to send 2 medications to the pharmacy and only sent 1. Also was not really explained what my tests were looking for/ why we were doing them.

Dr. Khalil was extremely professional and helped with all my questions and concerns. She was approachable and open to discussing my options. I really like Dr. Khalil and overall think I'm in good hands. However, every time I've seen her, she has been substantially behind schedule. While the wait is annoying, the more important effect is that she then seems a bit rushed which means I wasn't able to process all the information she provided and ask the relevant questions (I don't think as fast as she does!). However, she is generally quite attentive, remembers details from our last visit with great detail and I feel confident in her care. I just wish her office ran a bit more smoothly as that would lessen the wait time and probably increase her ability to spend adequate time with each patient.

I really like Dr. Khalil. She is super friendly and knowledgeable and answers all of my questions. However my last appointment was extremely disappointing because I was not moved to a patient room until over an hour after my scheduled appointment time. I was late for a work meeting because of this, so I had to rush my appointment to get out of there as fast as I could. They were great about rushing with me, but it was frustrating because I’m not sure how you can fall over an hour behind schedule at only 10:30am. It either meant they accepted someone late when they really shouldn’t have or they overbooked the appointments. I didn’t leave the office until nearly noon, and my actual consultation was probably less than 15 min total. Additionally, I’ve had some billing issues in the past with how they filed with my insurance, and I would try to call the office with no luck. The line would be busy for days and they would not return my voicemails. Once again, not really Dr. Khalil’s fault on this but does affect my experience and opinion on returning.

Have been struggling with endometriosis symptoms for months. While other doctors try and simply prescribe me with birth control for pain, Dr. Khalil listened to my concerns and was thorough with her suggestions. Wait time was iffy but I was late. Have my follow-up scheduled, do not hesitate to book! Her slots fill up quickly.

My experience with Dr. Khalil was one of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. Dr. Khalil was inattentive, rude, and rushed. She was completely dismissive of all of my symptoms and without asking me a single question about my diet or exercise, spent the majority of the appointment giving me insulting “weight loss tips” and indicating that my hormonal symptoms which I have been experiencing for over 10 years are due to my being 3 pounds overweight at the time of the appointment. I absolutely would not recommend Dr. Khalil.

I feel incredibly lucky to have found Dr. Khalil during a difficult time while facing a number of complex gynecological health issues. I have seen her at all three of her Mount Sinai office locations, and all are great. I can be pretty anxious about my health concerns, and she has gone above and beyond to help calm my nerves, answer my questions, and takes the time to contact me herself regarding difficult test results or concerns that arise after an appointment. I'm grateful for her professionalism, evident experience and skill, and her kindness. I highly recommend her.

I would say that the first visit was ok, when I returned after she ordered a ultrasound I just felt the follow up appointment was rushed and she didn't really want to see me. I left feeling the second visit was pointless and nothing was accomplished. I will be returning to my original OB because he is more caring and goes the extra mile and makes sure that there is some clarity to the issue. I only came to see her because she specializes in a particular condition but again I felt like it was pointless. Also she forgot to put in an prescription that I had to remind her about, when she said she was doing it right away.
