About Dr. Suzanne Abraham
Dr. Abraham has been practicing as a foot and ankle specialist in the Valley since 2006. She attended the Air Force Academy for her undergraduate studies, and then served as an officer in the Air Force for eight years. She completed her medical education at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco.
Her podiatric training continued with a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Her residency included comprehensive training in primary podiatric medicine as well as foot and ankle surgery, trauma, and diabetic wound care. She is now an attending physician at the Phoenix VA Hospital, and continues to work with podiatric residents and medical students. Dr. Abraham also works at the Banner University Medical Center wound clinic where she is involved in research studies and treats patients with complicated lower extremity wounds.
Dr. Abraham is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She welcomes patients of all ages. In her practice she provides medical and surgical treatments for a variety of foot and ankle conditions, including bunions, fractures, ingrown toenails, heel pain, and sports-related injuries.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Abraham learned to value the importance of maintaining a heathy lifestyle at an early age. She was an All American distance runner in college and later coached track and cross country at the Air Force Academy. She continues to enjoy running and remains active in the local running community while also competing in marathons. In addition, she proudly supports the Girl Scouts of America, the Veterans community and is actively involved in her church. She lives in Scottsdale with her husband Mark and their two children, Macy and Jack.
