Tara Kuroiwa joined Samaritan Family Practice in 2005 after finishing her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. Before becoming a PA, Tara worked as an EMT at the HP Pavilion and also at Alta Vista Pediatrics.
Tara enjoys managing patient care for a wide array of patients from young children to adults. It is important to her to build long lasting relationships with her patients in order to listen to their concerns, diagnose their problems and ultimately provide the best patient care for their needs.
Tara is a Bay Area native and currently resides in San Jose with her husband and two girls. When not at Samaritan Family Practice, Tara enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming and catching a local sporting event when possible.
