Very Comfortable and Kind. As a woman we are a bit self conscious about having a male gyno but he was great!
Besides Dr. Acholonu running over an hour late, he was very nice and listened to my concerns and questions.
Dr. Acholonu was very friendly. As a first time patient I felt very comfortable with him and his staff.

He was great, very professional but also very personable. I felt very comfortable under his care.

Very patient and great bed side manners. Very understanding and takes his time with each patient

Long wait time, but Dr. Acholonu and his staff were very attentive and worth the wait time.

It went pretty good but it's just I wasn't seen on my appointment time I waited a while

The Doctor was professional, answered questions, asked questions and was very polite.

Second visit, very smooth with a very short wait time and attentive, helpful staff
Made me feel very comfortable. He has great bedside manner. Very polite staff.
made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Def recommend this doctor.
Unusually long waiting time but he still took good care of me!
Dr.Ucheen was very professional and warm. good Doctor
The visit was rushed because though I was timely apparently everyone else ran late. The doctor wasn’t terrible but because of how rushed it was I wasn’t comfortable, didn’t get answers to my questions and felt my concern was not addressed. Plus the doctor was in and out the room so fast I didn’t even have time to ask any questions I had planned.

Although I was seen late, the doctor and staff were very apologetic. I understand that emergencies arise and if I were the person with the emergency I would hope that the doctor would be able to give me his undivided attention. He was polite and explained everything well.

Dr. Acholonu seems very kind and has a pleasant and patient manner. However, each time I visited the office I waited for nearly two hours. Very sad to see so many pregnant women standing for long periods due to long waits and extremely limited seating area. Most troublesome, however, after encountering serious problems after my procedure, I would never get return phone calls from Dr. Acholonu.
He's a soft-spoken, funny, and extremely knowledgeable individual. I've seen him about 3-4 times and it has been a pleasure every time. I never feel uncomfortable or pressured. Great doctor!
Very nice and knowledgeable physician. You don't have to wonder what is going on because he explains everything clearly every step of the way. He is very patient. Had a nice assistant present named Yvette. I have already recommended this doctor to a friend.
Funny, knowledgeable, personable, efficient.
Dr. Acholonu is a great doctor with a terrible staff. In the three times I went to see him, my shortest wait was an hour and a half. His professionalism, bedside manner and knowledge almost made up for the wait time, but I still won't be returning.
He was very knowledgable and easy to talk to. However the wait was ridiculously long, almost 2 hours. I really wish they could manage his appointment better

I visited this OB office and paid my co-pay with credit card when I signed in, and before the doctor saw me. They later sent me a bill and asked me to pay for it again. I send back the bill, told them that I paid the day I visited and I would not pay for it again. This office didn't check their transaction to see if I really paid. Instead, they transfer me to debt collecting agency. I felt sick at stomach when I saw the letter from the debt collection agency. I am not sure what these doctors are trying to achieve. Are they trying to double co-pay? Really? Do you really need this little amount of co-pay? How many patients are you doing this to? What if some patents paid their co-pay with cash on the visiting day, and lost the receipt later? They won't have proof that they paid it already and would have to pay again when the doctor say they didn't pay. I will never ever go to this office again. Waiting time is way too long. Getting there ahead of time doesn't really speed up anything. I will never ever go to this office again. Apparently money is incredible important to these people. How can I trust them? How will I know they will not make me do unnecessary checkups? Or make up reasons for me to visit?
The doctor was quite pleasant and took his time to talk to me about issues I had. I felt comfortable and not rushed like I have with other doctors in the past. I will not be returning to see this doctor, however, because I found some of the staff to be very rude and unhelpful. It is a shame because I am certain their manner has turned off other patients in the past as well.
Nice, professional and knowledgeable physician. One person in particular who answers the phone is consistently unprofessional and rude. Dr. Acholonu needs to spend a day listening to the people who answer his phones. I don't think he would be pleased.
I thought the docotor and clinical staff were wonderful. Professional, kind and a terrific bed side manner. The Admin/Clerical staff was not as nice. They women at the front desk were kurt, short tempered and not as pleasant as they could have been.
Great doctor.
The receptionist, nurse and doctor were all likable and professional. Dr. Acholonu was easy to talk to and very helpful. However, I was lucki my schedule was open that afternoon, because my appointment was set for 3pm and I didn't leave the office until about 5. I would be wary of trying to fit in an appointment on a lunch break or if you have plans afterwards.

Dr. Acholonu is a great doctor, very caring and gentle. Discussed all options with me. I was very please with my overall experience. Will return to him
He was incredibly kind. He had a good sense of humor, which I appreciate when discussing uncomfortable medical things, but was always professional. I was very anxious about what I was having done and he was very gracious and thankful to my friend who came with me and held my hand through the process. His assistant was also very kind and professional.
I really liked the doctor but the staff in the Amsterdam office was not very helpful. They seemed absent and somewhat uncaring. I called with an emergency one morning and kept being told that he would contact me, which he finally did about 5 calls and 7 hours after initial contact. I was in a lot of pain and couldn't leave work, they didn't seem to think much of my situation until finally I broke down in tears, then I finally got a call from him with in 20 min. interesting.
Professional enough
Doctor was friendly, nonjudgmental, thorough, and knowledgeable. When I had questions about my prescription weeks afterward, he answered them over the phone. The wait was a bit frustrating- I had to reschedule my original appointment after 60 minutes of sitting in the waiting room in order to make it back to work. Make sure you allot extra time for your appointment. Also, my results weren't mailed for several weeks for some reason, even though the receptionist had told me them over the phone after just one week.
A very patient and caring doctor. He listened to my concerns, and assured me that I would be fine. He's bedside manners is impeccable.

Dr. Acholonu was very well educated on my current condtion and how to remedy it. He had great bedside manner and was very profesional. I would definitely recommend him.

Although there was a long wait, the doctor was very apologetic and attentive as soon as I was tended to. He addressed my concerns without rushing and followed up as he'd promised with a phone call regarding my test results.
I liked him very much. He seemed kind, considerate and non-judgmental. He wasn't sure what's 'ailing' me, but had good ideas for the next step. Will feel better judging after my follow-up visit.
Great doctor! Definitely going back.
