1st Family Dental was founded on October 4, 1996, in Chicago, Illinois by Dr. Ghassan Abboud with a simple vision - to create a dental practice where patients feel genuinely cared for and treated like family. Nearly 30 years later, 1st Family Dental has grown to serve families across the Chicagoland area with multiple locations and a dedicated team of general dentists, specialists, and staff working together to provide comprehensive care. While much has grown over the years, our mission remains the same: to deliver exceptional dental care in a welcoming environment where patients truly feel like family.

The staff was so friendly. Dr. Lee and staff were attentive and assured that I was taken care of financially and physically! They were very friendly when weather impacted an appointment and helped me reschedule with ease. Dr. Lee provided sound advice and seemed to align with me in my care and my goals compared to other dentists who seem to scare you into receiving care that might not be necessary and may not be as urgent as they try to make it seem. I need a crown (which I already knew), but for the first time in my life of receiving dental care, I’m looking forward to coming back here for the care, the smiles, and the kindness! Thank you all for making an appointment that can bring some nerves seamless and enjoyable.
